Canyon Institute for Advanced Studies is the research and education arm of Grand Canyon University Institute for Advanced Studies (GCUIAS). GCUIAS is the former owner and operator of Grand Canyon University. In January 2004, Significant Education purchased the university and now does business as Grand Canyon University (GCU), and GCUIAS no longer takes any part in the day-to-day operations of the university. However, GCUIAS continues the separate and distinct activities including the projects carried out under the name Canyon Institute for Advanced Studies.
GCUIAS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is governed by an independent board of trustees, none of whom are owners of Significant Education. All gifts and donations are tax deductible [ Donation form]. |
